Terms
Last changed 17 September 2026. Freeplay is run by Jacquard Games, Las Vegas, Nevada. Questions: hello@freeplays.site.
Playing
Freeplay is free to play. An account is optional; it exists so saves, scores and rooms follow you. You must be 13 or older to make an account. Do not cheat, harass other players, or break a game on purpose. We can close an account that does.
Publishing
When you publish a game you confirm you own it or have the rights to it, and you give Freeplay a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host, display and distribute it on Freeplay and inside surfaces Freeplay embeds into (for example a Discord activity) while it is listed. You keep every other right. Unpublish and the licence ends; we keep the last three uploaded versions for 30 days so you can republish, then delete them.
You agree your game is original work (no clones, no asset flips, no rehosted games you do not own), is not aimed at children under 13, contains nothing illegal, and that you have disclosed AI assistance where it applies. We can remove a game that breaks these rules; where we can, we will tell you why.
Money
Publishing is free for up to three games. Pro is a monthly subscription billed through Stripe, month to month; cancel any time from your account and it ends at the period's close. Where ads or in-game purchases are switched on for your game, you receive 70% of net revenue (after the ad network's and the payment processor's fees). Balances are paid monthly once they pass $50. You are responsible for your own taxes.
Purchases in games
Purchases made through Freeplay's checkout are for digital items inside a specific game and are delivered as an entitlement on your account. Refunds: within 14 days if the item was not delivered or the game stops working; otherwise at the creator's discretion. Write to hello@freeplays.site.
What we are not responsible for
Games are made by their creators. Freeplay checks that a build runs and fits the rules; it does not guarantee a game works on every device, keeps working, or is suitable for you. The service is provided as is. Our liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the last three months.
Changes
If these terms change in a way that matters, the date at the top changes and creators get an email. Continuing to use Freeplay after that means you accept the new terms.
